I BUY and SELL
WHO WE ARE, WHERE WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT ME.
bullion, tokens, rings and antiques.
What do I do? How do I do it? Contrary to popular imagination, not all private investor portfolios contain huge amounts of precious metals. Sometimes, the existence of an investment may be due to an inheritance or gift, rather than a major bullion purchase, but to sell such smaller quantities in the conventional market could incur high fees and low offer prices. For the moment when investors' managers feel that it's time to reduce their smaller physical gold or silver holdings, we offer them a cheap and effective divestment service. I, in turn, then market the products that I have bought into sectors of the market that aren't necessarily looking for large trades. This is done mainly through personal contact, but also through the web site or online auctions such as eBay. I am prepared to sell any quantity from a gramme of gold right up to a kilogramme or two. I also have personal agreements with private individuals on whose behalf I will accept any items that they wish to dispose of with discretion.
Where are we? How to contact us.
Trust plays a major part of any on-line business, and as bullion can involve the exchange of large sums of money, buyers need to be sure about the people that they intend dealing with. Unfortunately, precious metals are attractive to many people, including a small minority with whom I'd rather not deal. That's why you'll find no address or telephone number on this site, as I don't encourage casual callers. However, if you're a genuine potential customer and you want to trade or make an enquiry or offer, please initially contact me by e-mail. Once I know your intentions, then you'll receive all the information that you require to quickly and safely complete a deal. If you need to talk, I'll give you a contact number; if you need to come to my premises, I'll inform you of the exact location of my trading office. If we can't build trust between us, then you'll simply walk away - I understand that!
Security.
Export clients. A note for potential customers outside the UK: I have become more and more frustrated by the intransigence of the postal AND courier services in refusing to carry or insure precious metals to overseas locations. For this reason, clients outside UK should contact me for the policy regarding payment and despatch to their country of residence.
Due to an unusually high number of cases where USPS has failed to collect signature and simply left packages containing precious metals on client doorsteps, I NO LONGER SHIP TO USA although potential clients are welcome to pay by bank transfer, arrange their own collection and delivery service and must accept liability in writing for goods once they have been handed to the shipper and a receipt obtained.
ALL clients are welcome to arrange their own courier services, if they feel that it will provide a solution to the problem. My liability ends when goods are collected.
Payments. I accept payments in cash, UK cheque, French cheque or direct bank transfer in Pounds Sterling or Euros. Due to the inherent risk of fraud associated with cheque, ALL cheque payments will require 10 clear banking days to process before goods are despatched. All direct transfers will despatch two banking days after receipt. There is immediate despatch for cash, naturally. PLEASE NOTE that with certain very specific exceptions, I no longer accept PayPal payments due to their lack of buyer regulation.
Quotations. Gold and silver are traded in a dynamically-priced market. For that reason, if you receive a price quotation for an item that you wish to purchase, whether in the form of an accepted offer or as a direct quotation, this price will be valid for 24 hours only, after which time, if you have not confirmed transmission of payment, the quotation will require re-confirmation. If you have sent payment to me, then the payment or instrument must arrive within 48 hours of your advisory to me; if this doesn't happen, the quotation may be re-priced or made void.

Images may be used freely for educational purposes (only), although I politely ask that ownership of the copyright be acknowledged. Subject to prior permission from the copyright holder, images may also be used in other arenas, such as on-line auction sites, but in this case, prior permission MUST be sought and copyright must be acknowledged. Each and every separate listing requires a separate authorisation. In the case of any sale of items which use my images as illustration, to prevent potential fraud, it must be made clear that the photo is only a representation of the item for sale and not the actual item itself.
The IP addresses of all visitors to this site are recorded automatically. If any images are used without my permission, a warning will be issued guiding the offender to this text. Should this action fail to cause adherence to my terms of use, a charge of £75 will be applicable to each and every use of the image and I shall seek to recover the charge and associated costs through the relevant court system. Please e-mail me if you require authorisation or further information.
A note on our friends. Yes, I do have friends. And if they deal in metal, I often let them use my web site pages. You can recognize offers from third parties as I'll generally highlight them. In cases of such offers, there will be contact details provided on the site and you should make a direct approach if you want to deal with them. I choose my friends carefully, but in the case of third-party offers, any deal is between you, (the buyer), and them directly.
Happy browsing, and I hope to hear from you when you're ready!
